Deputies observed abrasions on the man’s nose and a torn shirt. He stated that Norman had scratched him and caused the damage. Norman refused to speak or cooperate at first but eventually looked up, revealing what appeared to be blood on her right hand near her fingernails. No visible injuries were observed on her at the time.
While on scene, Norman reportedly yelled at the victim and ripped off a steering wheel cover, throwing it inside the vehicle. The victim moved their four children inside the residence due to the heat and told deputies he didn’t want Alicia to get in trouble. It was agreed she would leave for work, and her vehicle was jump-started by law enforcement.
However, just moments later, Alicia reportedly exited the SUV, went to a nearby white minivan, retrieved a knife, and punctured the rear driver’s side tire of the SUV. She was ordered to drop the knife and was taken into custody.
Norman was arrested and is facing charges of domestic battery in the third degree and disorderly conduct.
