Abilene-based nonprofit Global Samaritan Resources is now preparing to send a 16-foot box truck loaded with 52 twin-size mattresses to San Angelo.
According to the Texas Department of Emergency Management, 490 homes in San Angelo sustained major damage during the July 4th flooding.
The mattresses were already in Global Samaritan’s inventory, thanks to an earlier donation from Mattress Firm and Good360.
