The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office said a 25-year-old man died Tuesday after he fell into a tanker trailer.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies and emergency medical services were called to County Road 34 near Lakewood Road in Eden Lake Township, where the man had fallen into a 42-foot tanker trailer and became unresponsive.
The man was pulled out of the trailer and taken to the hospital for treatment but was later declared dead.
He was later identified as Elder Josue Salgado Gonzalez of Eden Valley. The sheriff’s office said Gonzalez had been cleaning the DAF water trailer with a hose before he was found inside the tanker.
When he was discovered, the tanker had 1.5 feet of water inside.
