Knott County man killed after getting trapped under lawn mower
KITE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man is dead after losing control of his lawn mower Tuesday afternoon in the Kite community of Knott County.
Kentucky State Police announced that, at 2:49 p.m. on July 29, troopers were called to assist medical personnel at the site of the crash on KY Highway 7.
Authorities said Thomas Johnson, 64, lost control of his lawn mower, and it went over an embankment, trapping him underneath it. He was declared dead at the scene by the Knott County Coroner’s Office.
KSP noted that toxicology results are still pending, and the investigation is still active.
