Fishers FD: Crews rescued 2 people who became stranded in White River while tubing

FISHERS, Ind. — Members of the Fishers Fire Department rescued two people who were stranded in the White River on Tuesday.

FFD confirmed that its crews responded to the White River because two individuals had gotten lost while tubing. Crews conducted surface rescue operations to get the two individuals out of the water.

Once the individuals were brought to the river’s shore, medics evaluated them as a precaution.

No other injuries related to Tuesday’s water rescue have been reported.
