Around 4:12 p.m. Austin police received a 911 call from a delivery driver who was in the area of 1907 Pennsylvania Avenue, APD’s Public Information Officer Aaron Townsend said during a media briefing Tuesday.
The driver told police they saw two dead bodies inside of the residence, and according to Townsend, the door was open. From the delivery driver’s perspective the bodies were visible, Townsend said.
When responding medics and officers arrived at the residence, they found both victims with obvious trauma, Townsend said. They were pronounced dead on scene at 4:29 p.m.
APD said preliminary investigation revealed the victims were adult Caucasians. At this time, police can not determine the gender of the victims nor the relationship between the two, Townsend said.
Austin police said this is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
