CHICAGO — The 2025 edition of the Crosstown Classic is in the books.

And the Cubs continued their recent domination of the White Sox.

Following three straight seasons in which they played just four games against each other due to MLB scheduling changes, the North Siders and South Siders were back to six head-to-head meetings in 2025, three in each ballpark.

With Sunday’s 5-4 win, the Cubs won two of three at Rate Field following a series sweep at Wrigley Field earlier this season, giving them five of six overall in this year’s Crosstown Classic.

The Cubs have gone 12-2 against the White Sox over the last three seasons, though the South Siders did snap an eight-game Crosstown Classic losing streak with a resounding 12-5 win in the first of three games at Rate Field this season.

But with their recent dominance, the Cubs have surged into the all-time Crosstown Classic lead by two games. When the teams meet again for this first time in 2026, the North Siders will have the all-time edge, 77-75.

Here’s a game-by-game recap of the 2025 Crosstown Classic:
