SRPD said Joyce Kristin Albino was last seen by her dad at 11 a.m. on July 22. When he returned to the campus at 1 p.m. to pick her up, he was informed that she had “left class halfway through, leaving behind her personal property,” according to police.
Joyce is described as 5 feet tall, and weighing about 115 pounds with brown eyes and black hair which may be dyed red. At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly wearing a black Pro Club hooded sweatshirt and grey bike shorts. Investigators said there have been possible sightings of her in San Rafael, San Francisco, and Redwood City.
“The Petaluma Police Department conducted an initial missing person’s investigation, which uncovered numerous leads, however none have led to Joyce’s whereabouts as of yet,” said police in a social media post. “Due to Joyce being a resident of Santa Rosa, the Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) has assumed the investigation. Based on the preliminary investigation, it is not believed that Joyce went missing under suspicious circumstances; however, there have been numerous possible sightings of Joyce by her acquaintances throughout the Bay Area, and we think with the community’s help, we can locate Joyce.”
Anyone with information on her current whereabouts is urged to contact SRPD at (707) 528-5222. Those with information that can help in locating Joyce are encouraged to contact SRPD Detective Luigi Valencia at (707) 543-4045 or lvalencia@srcity.org.
