Now in its fourth year, the show will include major grading companies, auction houses, memorabilia dealers and collectibles from both sports and non-sports genres. Among the highlights is a limited-edition Steph Curry badge for VIP guests, along with interactive programming for attendees of all ages.
“We aim to provide the best sports card show on the West Coast and cater not only to the US audience but collectors from around the world,” said Ken Coscolluela, marketing and events manager for the West Coast Card Show.
VIP access begins Thursday, Aug. 21, with general admission hours through the weekend. New participants this year include Walmart Collectibles and Vee Friends, who join returning exhibitors in showcasing cards, Pokemon and other rare items—some expected to reach seven figures in value.
A similar item shown at last year’s event, a one-of-a-kind 2024 Topps Chrome Update Paul Skenes patch autograph, later sold for $1.11 million at auction.
Security will be handled by both private staff and the Anaheim Police Department. In addition to collectibles, the show will feature amenities aimed at easing crowd flow, including expanded floor space, food options and seating.
“Our goal is to make this an unforgettable experience for everyone involved,” Coscolluela said.
Tickets and VIP packages are available online. Organizers say the event provides a boost to the local economy through tourism and hospitality spending.
