3rd person dies after St. Cloud crash
The man suspected of fleeing a traffic stop on July 2 and crashing into another vehicle, killing two people, has also died from his injuries, according to a news release from the St. Cloud Police Department.
Christopher Cortez Johnson-Caine, 26, died of his injuries on July 16. Police said his blood alcohol level was .309 — over three times the legal limit.

As previously reported, a St. Cloud officer pulled over a man driving a truck on the 1100 block of 8th Avenue North. As the officer approached the truck, the driver, later identified as Johnson-Caine, threw something out the window before speeding off. The item was discovered to be a firearm.
By the time the officer got back to his squad, the truck was out of sight.
As the officer was securing the firearm, dispatch notified police of a crash on the 1300 block of 10th Avenue North. The truck from the traffic stop was determined to have t-boned a car. The truck had been driving at an extremely high speed at the time.
Suleiman Mohamud Abdi, 59, and Craig Arthur Hennen, 45, were both killed in the crash.
