Jahari Ajani Allen, Jr., 24, is wanted on a charge of second degree murder in the death of an unidentified 22-year-old man.
New Iberia Police responded just after 2 p.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of Parkview Drive, where officers found a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was initially transported to a local hospital, then later airlifted to a Lafayette hospital, where he died.
Detectives identified the suspect as Allen, who is considered armed and dengerous.
