Highs on Tuesday return into the mid 90s but the heat index will be between 100 to 110° for much of the afternoon. A Heat Advisory is in effect for much of Acadiana. Make sure to hydrate and take frequent breaks when working outside. Rain chances stay low, only a few pop up showers or storms are possible.
Similar to the last two weeks, rain chances significantly increase Wednesday through Saturday. Heavy rains and gusty winds are possible each day but the severe threat and flash flooding risk should remain low.
