Goodwill says it is continuing its scholarship program to provide financial support to students in the Southern Rivers area. Selected applicants will receive a $500 scholarship to cover school expenses such as tuition, books, equipment, room and board, and more.
To be eligible for consideration, students must provide verification of enrollment at accredited institutions, write a brief personal essay and agree to a media release consent form.
The applications will remain open until Aug. 22. To learn more and apply, students should visit Goodwill’s Round Up Scholarship page.
Goodwill of the Southern Rivers is based in Columbus, Georgia and serves 50 counties throughout east Alabama and west Georgia. The organization says the scholarship is funded by donors and shoppers.
