Exclusive: 1-on-1 with Panthers wide receiver Hunter Renfrow and his road back to the NFL

CHARLOTTE (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — After only five practices into training camp, Hunter Renfrow is proving he can be a reliable option for the Panthers’ offense- similar to what he was during his Pro Bowl season with the Raiders in 2021.

In that season, Renfrow was top-10 in the NFL in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney crashed practice on Monday and caught up with his former player and two-time national champion. Swinney also spoke with the media on how Renfrow can impact a young Panthers receiving group.

It hasn’t been all touchdowns and celebrations for the Clemson alum in his NFL career. Renfrow missed the entire 2024 season dealing with an autoimmune disease.

After practice on Monday, the veteran slot wide receiver joined CSL’s Joey Ellis to talk about his road back to football and much more.
