Camden investigation changes from missing person to homicide

CAMDEN, Ark.  – Camden police officials said an investigation they began on Friday for a missing person is now a homicide investigation.

Police officials said they were working with Arkansas State Police to investigate the disappearance of 18-year-old William Braden Roberson of Camden. The investigation revealed that Roberson had been in a fight with three people at Sandy Beach Park in the city, they said.

Police officials stated that warrants were issued for the three individuals as a result of the investigation.

On Saturday, police officials reported that one of the three individuals was arrested in Union County, and the other two were arrested in Bossier City, Louisiana.  Their names and descriptions were not given.

Also on Saturday, officials said investigators determined the incident occurred outside Camden city limits and transferred the investigation to the Ouachita County Sheriff’s Department.
