Beloit police commission hires firm to find new chief
BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — The Beloit Police and Fire Commission has hired an executive search firm to recruit and new police chief.

MGT Impact Solutions will now work with the commission to find a replacement for former chief Andre Sayles.

The former chief resigned on June 6.

Sayles started serving with the Beloit Police Department in 2005, joining as a patrol officer. In 2013, he was promoted to sergeant. He was promoted to lieutenant in 2017 and to captain in 2020.

He was appointed Chief of Police in April 2021.

Beloit’s Police Department is currently led by interim Police Chief Thomas Stigler.
