WEST FORK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas authorities have released a new photo of the person of interest believed to be connected to the deaths of a couple at Devil’s Den State Park.

ASP investigators released the photo on Tuesday afternoon to accompany the previously released composite sketch. Officials told Nexstar’s KNWA/KFTA that the photo came from a witness.

Authorities believe the man killed Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, on July 26. Officials said the two were fatally attacked while hiking with their two young daughters, who were physically unharmed and are now safe with family.

ASP described the wanted man as a white male of medium build, last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt (with sleeves rolled up), dark pants, a dark baseball cap, and sunglasses. He was carrying a black backpack, wearing fingerless gloves, and may have sustained an injury during the attack.

Witnesses told ASP they saw the man leave the area in a black, four-door sedan, possibly a Mazda, with its license plate obscured by tape, traveling towards State Highway 170 or State Highway 220.

ASP is asking those who were at Devil’s Den State Park on July 26 to review any photos, videos, or GoPro camera footage for images of the person of interest or the described vehicle.

Residents who live in the area are being asked to check security and game camera footage for the matching vehicle or any unusual activity.

ASP is also asking residents not to post any possible evidence online and instead, to preserve the original files and submit information to the agency.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Arkansas State Police’s tip line at 501-618-TIPS or submit a tip online.
