TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Public health departments across the country are bracing for federal budget cuts — but in Abilene, services will continue as usual.
According to Annette Lerma, Director of Public Health, the state will absorb the funding shortfall, allowing the Abilene Public Health program to receive its full allocation. For now, no changes are expected to local services.
