At around 5 a.m. on July 27, officers responded to a burglary suspect on I-15. During an attempted traffic stop at Beryl Junction (Exit 31), the suspect vehicle crashed and two suspects fled.

One individual was taken into custody while another is still at large, according to Sgt. Lucas Alfred, Washington County Sheriff’s Office. A Citizen Alert was issued in Washington County Sunday morning in search of the man at large.

“Officers are in the Pintura area looking for a Hispanic of White male in his twenties to thirties, 5 foot 10 inches last seen wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, and black and white vans,” the alert states. “Male is possibly armed. If seen, do not approach! Call 911!”
