K9 found nearly two pounds of meth in Napa drug bust 
(KRON) – A Suisun resident was arrested for selling narcotics after a police dog located drugs, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office. 

Napa deputies pulled over a vehicle last week and found approximately an ounce and a half of methamphetamine, authorities said. The deputies were assisted by K9 Brick, who found the drugs. 

The suspect was arrested for the sale and transportation of narcotics.

With a search warrant, the Napa Special Investigations Bureau (NSIB) looked through the suspect’s hotel room. The sheriff’s office said K9 Brick located nearly half a pound of crystal methamphetamine. In addition, authorities found a loaded gun, ammunition, and a scale in the hotel room. 

Per the sheriff’s office, the suspect was booked into the Napa County Jail.
