Two injured in Juniper Avenue shooting

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that happened on Juniper Avenue on July 27, around 1:15 a.m.

A 17- and and 18-year-old female were injured in the shooting, which is connected to a scene on Japonica Drive.

The 17-year-old is in critical condition and has been flown to an Atlanta area hospital.

The 18-year-old is in stable condition, after being treated for multiple gunshot wounds at Piedmont Columbus Regional.

According to CPD, no arrests have been made.
