BOUNTIFUL, Utah (ABC4) — Thousands gathered along Bountiful’s Main Street for the city’s annual Handcart Days Parade on Saturday.

This was the last day of a two-day festival, which began with a half-marathon early in the morning before attendees lined up along Main Street for the parade.

Over 100 float entries took part in this year’s parade, including ABC4 Chief Meteorologist Alana Brophy and the ABC4 Weather Truck. The Handcart Days Parade is one of the largest in Utah, and this year marks the 75th anniversary of the event, starting back in 1950.

The festivities do not stop with the parade as fireworks are scheduled for tonight at Mueller Park Junior High.
