Odie first got into making Detroit Style Pizza during the quarantine of 2020 after he temporarily shut down his first pizza business, Baby Blue Pizza during mandatory quarantine. After toiling in his home kitchen for months, working to perfect his Detroit Style Pizza dough recipe, Odie found out about a small pizza shop for sale and decided to take the jump and open up Boxcar Pizza,” the shop’s website says. “At Boxcar, a vegan meal doesn’t mean you need to compromise on taste or flavor- it’s just really great pizza that happens to be vegan.”

Pizza options include cheeseburger pizza, the “Bacon Damn Sure” and “Steaky Breaky Heart.”
