Motorcycle crash leaves 1 dead in St. Croix County

A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in St. Croix County on Saturday morning.

St. Croix County officials received a call at about 9:13 a.m. from someone who came across a motorcycle crash in the 1600 block of County Trunk Highway H in Stanton Township.

Deputies arrived and found a 2024 Indian Motorcycle and the driver, 34-year-old David K. Decker from Somerset, WI, who law enforcement says was not wearing a helmet.

Authorities say that the motorcycle had been going west on the highway, left the road near 170th Street, entered the ditch and rolled several times.

Decker was pronounced dead on scene by the St. Croix County Medical Examiner.

The crash remains under investigation.
