Around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, 46-year-old Nathaniel Lee Lynn was taken into custody in Salisbury. He was booked into the Cabarrus County Detention Center without bond for first-degree murder, officials said.
Just before 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25, deputies responded to reports of a dead person in the driveway of a residence at 5656 Emanuel Road in Rockwell. When they arrived, they found 76-year-old Ralph Eudy suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
It is unclear if Eudy lived at the residence where he was killed. It also wasn’t confirmed if the silver four-door vehicle being mentioned in social media posts is associated with Lynn.
Officials said this is still an active investigation and encourage the public to come forward with any information relating to this case.
