Sea Hear Now Festival Coming Back to Asbury Park With Blink-182, Hozier as Headliners

Music, art, and surf enthusiasts will gather at North Beach and Bradley Park this September for the Sea Hear Now festival. The two-day event spans Sept. 13-14, with acts spread across three stages.

Sunday’s final act, Blink-182, starts at 9 p.m. Hozier commands the stage Saturday night at 8:50. The town’s strict rules mean all music stops at 10:30 sharp.

Waves crash against music as pro surfers take to the water. The North Beach Sessions will bring out stars like Landon McNamara and Cam Richards. Local heroes Sam Hammer and Rob Kelly join Balaram Stack in the surf lineup.

LCD Soundsystem kicks off Saturday’s main stage acts. Alabama Shakes and ZZ Top follow with back-to-back sets. At 5:35, fans must split time between De La Soul and Remi Wolf’s competing shows.

The beats keep rolling on Sunday with Lenny Kravitz and Sublime cranking up the volume. Public Enemy brings their signature sound, while TV On The Radio adds experimental flair. Two up-and-coming bands, Surfing for Daisy and The Tide Bends, start the day’s music.

Between sets, Pork Chop’s striking jellyfish art and surfboard installations catch eyes across the park. The Transparent Clinch Gallery sets up shop nearby, selling musicians’ artwork to support community causes.

The minds behind Lollapalooza, C3 Presents, team up with hometown visionaries Danny Clinch and Tim Donnelly to run the show. Started in 2018, the festival has missed just one year: 2020’s COVID shutdown.

While standard tickets sold out fast, determined fans can still snag verified resale passes. Single-day entry starts at $240.
