The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) initially planned to close Logan Canyon on July 21st and 22nd. However, they have since changed the closure dates to Monday, July 28, and Tuesday, July 29.
According to the Cache County Sheriff’s Office, the canyon will be closed to any thru traffic and will not be passable. The closure will be in effect from 10pm to 6am.
These closures and other construction in Logan Canyon are part of an ongoing effort to dig trenches and lay pipes, and replace pavement rumble strips and lane striping, according to UDOT.
UDOT also noted that this project may be subject to change, based on weather conditions.
