BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — July 25, 2025
Bloomington Police arrested eight people Thursday during a targeted operation near Seminary Park as part of an ongoing investigation into drug activity in the area, according to the Bloomington Police Department.
The BPD said detectives have spent several weeks identifying people allegedly involved in selling and using illegal drugs around the park. On July 24, officers arrested eight individuals on a range of charges, including dealing methamphetamine, narcotics, and marijuana.
Among those arrested:
“Detectives will continue their investigations into those selling and using dangerous drugs in the vicinity of City parks and more arrests are likely in the near future,” the department said in the statement.
All individuals arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
