Abilene’s Board of Building Standards has been dealing with 4474 La Hacienda Drive since September of 2022, when the property was first brought to them because progress had not been made on the new family build for two years.
That meeting was the start of a saga that lasted for years as board members tried to find the true owners of the home while various representatives appeared and promised progress would be made, delaying the demolition of the home time and time again, frustrating neighbors and the homeowner’s association who were tired of seeing the property in disrepair.
Finally, a new investor has arrived on scene and plans to turn this unfinished home into “the diamond of the neighborhood.”
Interior designer Jasa Rosseau was contracted to bring new life to the property, and she says she plans to develop it into the upscale living space she knows it can be!
Watch the video above as Jasa walks us through a tour of the home in its current state and talks about her vision!
