
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Several lanes are closed in Parley’s Canyon after a Semi-truck jackknifed and leaked oil and other fluids.
Currently, multiple lanes of traffic are closed in Parley’s Canyon, with significant delays for travelers. According to Lieutenant Cameron Roden, with the Utah Highway Patrol, a semi-truck jackknifed and is now blocking the right lane.
Medical personnel have also arrived on scene and have blocked off the right and middle lanes. the furthest left lane is the only lane open right now.
The driver of the Semi-truck is being evaluated on-scene for any injuries. According to Lt. Roden, he may be transported to the hospital. Additionally, the semi-truck is leaking oil and fuel, which will likely take one to two hours for cleanup.
Crews are also working to get another lane open.
