RMC BFM Group Selects Bitmovin Player To Enhance Video Playback

Bitmovin, provider of video streaming infrastructure, today announced that RMC BFM Group, a private media company based in France, has selected Bitmovin’s Player to enhance its video playback experience across its digital platforms. The Player will be deployed via AWS Marketplace, accelerating integration in line with RMC BFM’s cloud first-strategy.

“As part of a broader digital transformation, RMC BFM Group needed a flexible, high-performance solution that could work effortlessly across a complex ecosystem of playback technologies,” said a Bitmovin statement. “The Bitmovin Player was selected for its seamless integration capabilities, broad device compatibility, and support for evolving user experience and monetization needs.”

Patrice Mayet, CTO of RMC BFM, expressed enthusiasm over the integration.

The deployment of Bitmovin’s Playback solution is already underway, with a launch scheduled for January 2026. The solution was selected following a proof-of-concept process, where Bitmovin’s responsiveness and deep understanding of both cross-platform streaming challenges and the nuances of the French media landscape played a key role in RMC BFM’s decision.
