PBR is back! The toughest sport on dirt is back at the 2025 Shawnee County Fair. The event will feature top riders from across the country battling it out for the win and vital points on the PBR leaderboard.
Judd Mortensen said this is the fifth year they have some to Stormont Vail Events Center, but the first year he’s bringing PBR on.
“Some of the top bull riders in the world, Australia, Brazil, Canada, and some of the best from America coming here to tame some of the best bucking bulls in the business,” Judd Mortensen said.
Jaxton Mortensen will be competing on Saturday and 27 News asked Mortensen what his favorite part about competing is.
“My favorite part about Bull riding, honestly, is just like a family that we have like throughout all of the bull riding industry,” Jaxton Mortensen told 27 News. “Like, you run into people that knew one of your friends and then you’re your brothers after that, and then you go on and stay in places and you just being in new places and traveling is great.”
