LAKE CHARLES, La. (
KLFY) — A woman has been arrested for her alleged involvement in a
June murder in Lake Charles, authorities said.
Timmesha N. Porter, 26, of Lake Charles, is charged with accessory after the fact in the June 29 shooting of Kalin J. Stevens.
Stevens’ body was found on the side of the road in the 6700 block of U.S. 90 in Lake Charles in what was originally
thought to be a hit and run.
Two suspects were arrested in connection with the murder of Stevens, Larry J. Bigelow, Jr., 22, and Titus T. Tezeno, 22, both of Lake Charles. Detectives said Porter was involved in the homicide and assisted in concealing evidence related to the crime.
CPSO detectives conducted a search of Porter’s home Tuesday, at which time she was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. Her bond is set at $150,000.
