ESPN’s Ryan McGee revealed his rankings for college football mascots on Thursday, and to many, it’s no surprise who was deemed the best for the live animal division.
McGee ranked Georgia No. 1 for its Bulldog, Uga, while Auburn’s War Eagle was placed at No. 5 in the category.

The Seiler family in Savannah is the keeper of the English Bulldog bloodline that dates back to the 1950s and has brought Uga up to Athens on game weekends.
Some cool facts are that Uga has his own presidential suite on Georgia’s on-campus hotel, where sports announcer, Rece Davis, was once kicked out of to accommodate the dog.
Uga also has a customized traveling compartment inside an SUV and hangs out inside a temperature-controlled dog house during games. All of these perks are attributes to why Uga is the clear-cut favorite for mascots in the live animal division.
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to kick off the season Aug. 30 at Sanford Stadium against the Marshall Thundering Herd.
