
SPANISH FORK, Utah (ABC4) — One individual has died, and multiple lanes of traffic have been closed after a motorcyclist hit a car in Spanish Fork Canyon.
According to Lieutenant Cameron Roden, with the Utah Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist traveling eastbound crashed into a vehicle turning onto Highway 6 from US-89.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead on scene. They have not been identified at this time.
At this time, crews have responded to the scene of the crash. Any northbound traffic turning onto Highway 89 has to turn westbound onto US-6. Additionally, one eastbound lane has been closed.
It is not yet clear whether anything else contributed to this incident.
