DNC Wants PA-01 Voters to Demand Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick Support Releasing the Epstein Files, Launches Digital Ad Campaign

Will Republican Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick have the courage to speak out about his party and the Trump administration stonewalling the promised release of the Jeffrey Epstein files? Never mind vote for legislation like the Epstein Files Transparency Act to compel their release in “a searchable and downloadable format.” The Democratic National Committee wants to make sure that this is one of the topics of conversation between the former FBI agent-turned-lawmaker and his constituents this summer.

The DNC is launching new digital ads calling out Fitzpatrick and other Pennsylvania House Republicans and urging their constituents to call their offices and demand they take action to release all documents regarding this sex trafficking investigation.

“Democrats are going to continue to hold the Trump administration and Pennsylvania Republicans in Congress accountable for their failure to release the Epstein files and the cover-up that we are witnessing in real time,” said DNC Senior Advisor for Messaging, Mobilization, and Strategy Tim Hogan in a statement. “Pennsylvanians deserve full transparency, and Donald Trump and his sycophantic enablers like Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick are twisting themselves in knots trying to distort the truth.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson announced Tuesday that he was cutting the legislative body’s business short and sending lawmakers home Wednesday for an early summer recess in order to avoid voting on any Epstein-related bills. Congress will return in September.

The Wall Street Journal also reported Wednesday that Attorney General Pam Bondi told President Trump in May that he is named in the Epstein files. Bondi has also come under file for saying in February that Epstein’s client list is “sitting right now on my desk to review,” only to reverse course this month when the Department of Justice released a two-page memo stating there is “no incriminating ‘client list.’”

The DNC’s digital ads will appear on several social media platforms – including conservative information spaces.
