PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — A man was shot and killed in Southwest Philadelphia Thursday afternoon, police announced.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, just before 3 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting near the 2200 block of South Felton Street. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:43 p.m.
So far, police have not announced any arrests, and investigators are still figuring out a motive.
