Special Olympics Indiana says this series of training camps is in preparation for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, which in June of 2026 will unite more than 100,000 athletes, coaches, volunteers and fans in Minnesota.
This weekend, more than 100 athletes, coaches and support staff will come to Rose-Hulman to prepare for the 2026 games. The weekend includes practices, team meetings, team building and more.
“We are excited to get everyone together at Rose-Hulman and begin our training for the 2026 USA Games,” said Katie Hilt, the Team Indiana Head of Delegation and Special Olympics Indiana Director of Sports and Competition. “These athletes have worked hard to get to this point and represent their peers on the national stage. They know that the job is only starting as we prepare to compete against the top athletes from across the United States.”
