MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Machsney Park Police arrested Candace Tucknott, 40, on child endangerment charges, among others.
Officers were made aware that Tucknott was allegedly abusing children on June 13.
Tucknott strangled and struck the victims, according to reports.

Court documents show that she also locked the children inside their rooms with a dog leash.
The suspect is also quoted as saying, “I will kill you,” to one of the children in court documents.
Tucknott is charged with two counts of domestic battery that caused bodily harm, aggravated domestic battery that caused strangulation and two counts of child endangerment.
She was granted pretrial release on July 24.
