Why We’re Joining Forces — And What Comes Next
By Dr. Tim Peck and Emilee “Emma” McCartney
We got into the race for the same reason: we love the district, and we believe Hoosiers deserve better.
Better leadership.
Better representation.
Better ideas backed by real action.
For months, we ran as opponents, criss-crossing the district, talking and listening to voters and then we started talking to each other — about the issues, the campaign, and about the kind of movement we wanted to build. And we realized: we’re stronger together.
That’s why we’ve made the decision to join forces. Emma has stepped down from the race and is joining Tim’s campaign as Social Media Director, where she will amplify Hoosier voices and bold ideas with 21st-century technology.
Emma brings creativity, fire, and a powerful ability to connect across the political spectrum — especially online. She has built a loyal and growing social media presence with millions of views and thousands of followers, including a single video that reached over 10 million views. Her work helps people — including conservatives — understand the progressive approach through honest storytelling, issue-by-issue education, and facts over fear. She breaks down the real impact of legislation, cutting through the noise and making policy accessible.
Tim brings decades of healthcare and leadership experience, along with a track record of showing up, listening, and fighting for everyone in the district — no matter your zip code or party. As the Democratic nominee for Congress in Indiana’s 9th District in 2024, Tim earned support across rural and suburban communities with a bold message focused on healthcare, opportunity, and unity.
We both believe that representation doesn’t mean winning arguments. It means showing up for people. Every county. Every community. Every voice.
Our message is simple: Healthcare is a human right. Reproductive freedom matters. Rural communities should not be left behind. And young people deserve a seat at the table — not in five or ten years, but right now.
To the voters of Indiana’s 9th: we are ALL IN, together. And we’re just getting started. If you’re ready to join the movement — to knock doors, share stories, and spread the word — this is the moment.
Let’s do something big. Let’s do it together.
