Former Congressional Candidate Emilee McCartney Joins Peck Campaign as Social Media Director

BLOOMINGTON, IN — Dr. Tim Peck’s congressional campaign announced today that former candidate Emilee “Emma” McCartney will be joining the team as Social Media Director. McCartney, who recently exited the race for Indiana’s Congressional 9th District, will lead the campaign’s digital communication strategy heading into 2026.

“Emma has the creativity, conviction, and connection to voters that this campaign needs,” said Dr. Peck. “She understands how to break through the noise, reach across divides, and bring people into a conversation grounded in real facts, not rhetoric.”

Dr. Tim Peck was the Democratic nominee for Congress in Indiana’s 9th District in 2024, earning strong support across the district with a message focused on affordable healthcare, economic fairness, and bipartisan cooperation. This cycle, he’s building on that foundation — and growing a campaign that puts people, not party politics, first.

McCartney has already made a name for herself in political communication circles, with several videos garnering national attention — including one that received over 10.1 million views. Her digital content regularly reaches thousands of followers and is known for helping conservatives and moderates understand progressive issues through honest, fact-based storytelling. She specializes in breaking down complex legislation and making its real-world impact clear to everyday voters.

“Tim and I don’t just agree on the issues — we agree on how politics should feel,” said McCartney. “It should feel honest. Inclusive. Focused on people. I’m excited to bring that energy to this campaign and help build something powerful.”

Peck and McCartney have co-authored an op-ed this week in The Bloomingtonian (link) explaining their decision and vision for the campaign.
