TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Police Department announced it has made an arrest the murder of a man found dead in a vehicle near a community center earlier this month.

Police previously identified Terry Keller, 72, of Topeka, as the victim. On Wednesday, police released a written statement confirming officers have arrested Wisdom Curls, 24, of Topeka. He is facing charges of first degree murder, aggravated robbery and possession of a weapon.

On July 15, Topeka Police found Keller dead inside a vehicle near the Central Park Community Center. The vehicle drew officers’ attention because it looked suspicious.

Jail records show booked Curls into jail Wednesday night. His bond has not been set. The case remains under investigation.
