ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating after a man arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound on Wednesday morning in Enfield.
According to police, the man arrived at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield around 7:00 a.m. for care. Police said following the investigation, the shooting could have taken place in the area of the 100 block of Windsor Street.
The man underwent surgery and continues to receive care at the hospital, police said.
Authorities will remain in the area on Windsor Street on Thursday to continue the investigation. There is no threat to the public, police said.
