One hurt in Chillum shooting, two shooters sought

CHILLUM, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s Park Police is investigating a Wednesday shooting that left one man hurt.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a shooting at 7 p.m. in a park on West Park Drive and Fordham Street in the Chillum area.

An initial investigation discovered that three people were walking when two people approached them, striking one person.

The victim was then transported to the hospital, according to police.

Police say they are searching for two suspected shooters who fled the scene on bicycles.
