A couple of 3L.com domain names sold today at Sedo. Nar.com sold for $41,000 and MCC.com sold for $90,999. MCC.com sold back in 2008 at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. for $195,000.
MCC.com just look to be parked for several years and then the seller took $100K loss. LLL.coms are one of the most popular categories for domain investors, several domain wanted posts are posted every month at Namepros with people looking to buy in the $10K to $30K range. This sucks someone had to take a $100K + loss.
I thought Nar.com sold on the cheap side. National Association or Realtors should have bought the name.
