GFiber is a company “that brings Google Fiber and Google Fiber Webpass internet services to homes and businesses.” It is owned by Alphabet, Google’s parent company.
The Thursday event is specifically to hire new direct sales representatives, the company said.
“The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for increasing the number of active paid residential customers within a market through door-to-door interactions,” the job description reads. “This role primarily sells to residential homes and may include an opportunity to contribute across multiple dwelling units (MDUs). You will be working outdoors going from home to home to achieve sales goals.”
In order to attend, candidates must schedule a time slot online. As of 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, 51 time slots were still available.
Pay for the positions start at $75,000, according to the company, with the potential to reach six-digits with “an uncapped sales bonus plan.”
