Bickleton Hwy Fire in Klickitat County causes evacuations

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A second fire in Klickitat County prompted evacuations on Wednesday night.

The Bickleton Hwy Fire caused Level 3 and Level 2 “Be Set” evacuations for the Bickleton Hwy/Oat Flat Rd Area. The Level 3 evacuations got downgraded to Level 2 just after 6 p.m. and the previous Level 2 evacuations got rescinded.

Earlier in the day, the Brewer Road Fire caused the towns of Klickitat and Wahkiacus to evacuate.
