Two injured after fire on SEPTA train at the Paoli Train Station

(WPHL) — A SEPTA crew member and a firefighter have been injured after a fire on a SEPTA train in Chester County.

Two train cars caught on fire just before 11 p.m. at the Paoli Train Station.

When firefighters arrived, they saw a large plume of smoke billowing from the train and heard a loud explosion.

At the time of the fire, SEPTA employees were the only ones onboard.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
