MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A person was hospitalized on Tuesday morning after they were shot in Potomac, according to police.

The Montgomery County Department of Police told DC News Now that just before 2:20 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of Seven Locks Road and Seven Hill Lane for a shooting.

Once on the scene, police found a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Responding officers began assisting the victim, and they were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to police.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
