The shooting occurred in the 900 block of Avenue G. in Bogalusa, Louisiana, on July 13.
According to Bogalusa police, officers discovered a man with two gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police identified the suspect as Daniel King Brown, 39. He is wanted for one county of attempted first-degree murder, one count of assault by drive-by shooting and one count of illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments.
Investigators said Brown is believed to have ties to the Brookhaven, Mississippi, area. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the Bogalusa Police Department at 985-732-3611.
